Claudio Rietti // Director of Photography

Claudio is a Brazilian born New York based cinematographer.

 

Having grown up with a deep passion for music, photography, and literature, he eventually found his way to filmmaking, an amalgamation of all 3 art forms.

​

Claudio’s recent works include the feature film “Out of the Woods” starring Francis Fisher, and "The Alchemy of Being OK" for Wayfarer Studios.

 

In episodic television, he shot seasons 2 & 3 of the Emmy Nominated, Golden Globe winning “Ramy” (Hulu), Seasons 1 & 2 of “The Equalizer” with Queen Latifah (CBS) and Season 2 of “Love Life”(HBO Max).

 

He lensed “Geoff Mcfetridge: Drawing a Life”, a

documentary executive produced by Spike Jonze which won the

Audience Award at the 2023 SXSW Festival.

His commercial clients include: Goldman Sachs, L’oreal, Redken,

Matrix, Skinceuticals, Palmer’s, Ram, Rivian, Subaru, BMW, Fema,

IBM, Peloton, Kate Spade, amongst many others.

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling, Claudio is dedicated to bringing scripts to life through his lens.

He’s a member of Local 600 and of ABC (Associação Brasileira de Cinematografia).
